February.
So we are going full steam now, When I say "we" I mean the Butte County Regional Airsoft group and the BCRA Hell Fish ( Our team in the group). The group is now attending events all over and showing up in groups exceeding 20+ people it seems that our group is growing super fast. We now have over 50 people and are still growing, Also we have our first sponsor Facepalm Creations. This is a huge step for us we hope we can get more in the future. We'll see what happens. Either way we got lots of events to go to and hopefully we will have video up soon too.

Moving.
The wife and I now have a place of our own. Awesome but I lose my shop in the process but get an office to work in wee hours of the night if needed. So it's off to a Viet Nam game (
operation War hawk) and the expectation of the new Hell Fish patches. then airsoft is on the back burner until we are settled in our new home.

What happened?
So in light of recent events I did not get to hold my event. Even with this let down there has been so much happening in out little group. We have mad new contacts with other groups to play with and even might have a actual big kid sponsorship from ICS (fingers crossed). Until then I will have to settle for going to Airsoft Con in SoCal to meet with WE tech and check out evike.com's new store. The groups has been making leaps and bound in our playing, but now we have so many more things going on Josh is building guns and I am customizing them We used to just play but it seems like we are growing so fast its crazy. This Airsoft thing is really taking off for us. Now all I can think of is all the people that told me my hobby was lame.

This one is a little short....
But at least I'm writing something... Any who airsoft has been kinda laggy lately but good news. It's picking back up this Saturday I'm off to Browns Valley to participate in Iron Spider 2, I missed Iron Spider 1. Most of the team is back on track too. So we more likely will be playing more causing me to fill this blog even more. I have some projects I am working on too; and an My own personal OP I wil be hosting in August (some time away thank goodness). I will post picture and a review of the OP when I return sooner than later also a interview with the games organizer. Weekend after that Swap meet! Yeah! More to come...

Updates...and a review.
Recently like my last post I still have been slacking. As a promise to my self I will be updating this every Wednesday or Thursday. Today we had airsoft but it was canceled So Instead I will be doing a product review: Today's product is the "Phantom Gear MOLLE Carry Band" a really great item as an alternative to the same old vanilla backpack or biek messenger bag. Pictured above is the band as it comes shipped. Purchased at evike.com (http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=38196) for $35
Below is my personal set up: all pouches can be purchased separately allowing for infinite customization , MY personal setup is primarily for riding my motorcycle and bicycle. which it is great for. The two larger pouches are on the rear and carry bulky items and supplies I use on a daily basis (Nintendo 3DS, First aid kit, snacks and such). In the front I have a pouch for pens a leatherman and my phone and a flashlight. I don't really change it when I'm not on a vehicle it's pretty universal for me but for others it might not be all. The Phantom MOLLE Carry band is made of Nylon condura and is extremely durable it can be worn as a sling or just draped over a shoulder for convenience either way its great for any one who seek a alternative to a back pack or bicycle messenger bag. while I'm not able to carry tons of stuff in it I can carry enough and keeps down on over packing. the weight distribution is very balanced and allows for easy movement. I mainly bought this for normal everyday use. and it is quickly becoming my favorite purchase in a while.
